Our team is built off of real-life situations, real industry problems, real industry solutions and real success. We have and continue to work with small to enterprise level clients in several different industries across the United States.

How long will it take to prepare my tax return?

Great question!  Our process takes approximately 1-2 weeks. However, there are a lot of factors that play into the overall time table such as, the time of year, client response time to our requests, and the volume and complexity of the tax documents.

Do you need to be a CPA or EA (Enrolled Agent) to file taxes?

Being a CPA or EA (Enrolled Agent) is not required to file taxes. However, we highly recommend that you utilize the services of a CPA or EA, and not because we are those! First, the obvious one, CPA/EAs have to pass very difficult exams to obtain their designation. CPA/EAs have annual ethics and training requirements, meaning they should be more ethical and better trained to handle tax returns. Next, CPA/EAs typically work on taxes year-round, staying fully aware of any tax changes. Additionally, specifically CPAs, are often well versed in other areas besides tax, like financial planning, and they can provide a holistic view of your entire financial situation.

Why are bank reconciliations required?

Bank statements are an important tool for reconciling transactions in any accounting system. The primary purpose of reconciling bank statements is to ensure that the transactions recorded in the accounting system match the transactions recorded by the bank.

Which accounting systems does EH Solutions have experience with?

We have experience in a wide range of accounting systems, including, QuickBooks, Zoho, Wave Accounting, NetSuite, Xero and Pallo. Of the systems listed, our recommendation is QuickBooks Online due to its ease of use and system functionality.

Which payroll systems does EH Solutions have experience with?

We have experience with Gusto, ADP, Paychex, and QuickBooks Online Payroll. We recommend Gusto due its ease of use of fair price. We highly, highly, highly recommend AGAINST QuickBooks online Payroll. All of the clients we have seen use QuickBooks Online Payroll have had issues with non-filing and/or non-payments of payroll filings.
